Stores partner with local shelters to celebrate Mother's Day

For more than 10 years, Limited Brands’ “Adopt-A-Mom” program has touched the lives of thousands of mothers who temporarily reside in local shelters and may not have the opportunity to celebrate or be honored on Mother’s Day. This year, more than 1,600 stores partnered with The National Domestic Violence Hotline, United Way agencies and other non-profit organizations within their store communities throughout the country that serve mothers in need. As a result of that effort, more than 24,000 lives were touched by the "Adopt-A-Mom" program on Mother's Day in 2011.
